It was 1200 midnight and I was in Ikeja Police Station arguing with an ingenious police man. Don't ask me how I got their but it was a really stupid matter. If I did not want to sleep at the station, I needed to get a lawyer and fast. I called Onyeka and explained what was going on. He simply said, it was a small issue, he will soon be there. I was puzzled because Ikeja is pretty far from Lekki and at 1200 midnight. I was too upset with my situation to even ask him not to bother since it was just too far. Not quiet 30 minutes, Onyeka was in the police station, spoke to the officers and we were free to go. It then occurred to me to ask him, where was he coming from. He said matter of factly that he just threw on some clothes and left his house. From Lekki to Ikeja at 1200 midnight just to help out a friend! My son is named Onyeka, Onyekachukwu, just like Onyeka.
